When will I hear from my shopper?

Your shopper will text you when they arrive at the store, and you will also receive an app notification when your shopper begins shopping. Your phone number will be masked so your shopper never sees your personal contact info and vice versa.

To initiate a text message to your shopper, using the phone with the number associated with your Shipt account, open the Shipt app and tap Orders in the bottom center between the Home and Account symbols. Tap on a specific order to open the Order Details page. If the order says "Shopping in progress" at the top, you will have the ability to tap Message Shopper* and initiate a text to your shopper. 
*Note: You will see the shopper's first name and last initial instead of the word Shopper.
