How can I keep my information secure?

Shipt provides several features to help you protect your personal information including 2-factor authentication (2FA), password requirements, and a masked number system to conceal your phone number when you communicate with shoppers.

Please note that if you haven't used your Shipt account in over a year, we will automatically apply 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) to your account in order to help protect your information. To learn more about 2FA, click here.

It’s important to be mindful of phishing attempts, which could be an email or text message encouraging you to click a link, download an attachment or even respond with sensitive information. Remember that Shipt HQ will never ask you for your login information or request that you change it to something specific. It’s also important to never share sensitive account information such as 2FA codes, passwords, or card information with others. If you ever receive suspicious phone calls, text messages, and/or emails requesting this information, please report it to Shipt Support.

You can also review how your data is being used with Shipt directly in the app:

  • Tap Account, then Profile
  • Tap Legal and Privacy. From this screen, you can view your data summary or access how your data is being used.
