• Can I add items to my order after I have placed it?

  • Yes! You can add items to your order up to one hour before your requested delivery window.

    To add an item through your app:

    • Tap Orders from the menu.
    • Tap the order you'd like to add to.
    • Tap Update items.
    • Search for the item you want to add.
    • Save your updated order.

    
    Your Shopper will be notified that you have updated your order!

• Do shoppers accept tips?

  • Yes! Tips are not required but are greatly appreciated. You can add a tip for your shopper at checkout, tip in cash at delivery, or add a tip after your order has been delivered by logging back into your Shipt account via the app or website.* 100% of your tip will go to your shopper.
    *Note: Shipt credits and Shipt gift cards cannot be used for shopper tips.

• Does it cost anything to start shopping with Shipt?

  • There is no cost to sign up to become a shopper with Shipt. Once you're activated as a shopper, you'll be able to start claiming and completing orders.

    As a shopper, you will be responsible for covering the cost of your gas, data usage, etc. However, as an independent contractor, you can file many of these as expenses when you do your taxes! Consult a tax professional for more information.
