What is the protocol for delivering to a Shipt member?


For the safety of our community, we are currently implementing a new feature that defaults certain customers' orders to be drop-off orders — these orders are to be dropped off at the customer's door instead of handed off face-to-face.

Check the Order Notes section on the Order Details screen to see if a specific drop-off location was requested, and consider messaging the customer when you are on your way to drop off their order to help them prepare for their order delivery.

A best practice is to also send a photo of the order at their door for proof of delivery. You can also choose to knock on the door or ring the doorbell to notify the customer that their order has been delivered prior to walking away and sending the message.
